LUCKNOW: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has gone full throttle, appointing convenors and coordinators and setting up teams to manage campaigns and booths in 12 Assembly and two Lok Sabha constituencies going to by-polls on October 13.
The party has constituted teams of senior leaders, workers, MLAs and MPs from three to four neighbouring districts of each constituency for proper poll management and for launching an aggressive campaign.

Party''s state president Keshari Nath Tripathi launched the party''s campaign in Allahabad West and Karchchana on Sunday. He also campaigned for a party candidate in Madiyahu (Jaunpur). He would campaign in Saidpur Assembly constituency in Gaziabad on Tuesday; Sidhaur (Bara Banki) on September 29; Mujhena (Gonda) on October 1, Milkpir (Faizabad) on October 2, Ahirauri (Hardoi) on October 5; Baghra (Muzaffarnagar) on October 6, Iglas (Aligarh) on October 7 and Mainpuri on October 8.
Similarly, party vice-president and state incharge Kalyan Singh would be campaigning actively for party candidates in the by-polls. Though Kalyan has yet not announced his programme, he is mainly concentrating on Atrauli from where his daughter-in-law Premlata is contesting to retain the family seat.
Meanwhile, both Kalyan and Tripathi have demanded immediate arrest of killers of Avinash Singh, a close relative of former chief minister Rajnath Singh. "It was unfortunate that even kin of former chief ministers are not safe in the state," fumed party spokesperson HN Dixit.
